The habits we used to have

If my life is a TV show this must be the running gag.

"You must be ... year 7." She sounds so sure of herself.
I laugh quietly, resigned. "No, I'm actually year 11."
Shock, embarrassment, and she hides her face in her arms. "I'm so so so so sorry."
I smile, "It's okay, I get that a lot."

About this blog

As much as I would like to believe otherwise, memories alone can't last forever. Looking through old photos, I'm surprised at what I've already forgotten, and never would have remembered again if not for the aid of a reminder. I don't have the habit of keeping a diary, but I hope this blog will do.

Here I'd like to preserve some aspects of my life: what I did, what I felt, what I liked, what interested me. The little things that I won't remember years or months down the track without some help.

Hopefully, the thoughts and memories recored in this blog will be able to make me smile when I read back on them, and you too, are welcome to read them. Please leave me a comment or message, I'd like to see what you think.
